Seeding Our Future Garden Tour & Art Show June 20-21, 2008 I've yet to meet a gardener who doesn't possess a voyeuristic urge to sneak peaks over garden gates to see if the grass is greener and the flowers are cheerier on the other side. So imagine my delight at the opportunities to do just that, with a fabulous built-in excuse, when I signed on as Event Co-chair for the Seeding Our Future Garden Tour & Art Show. I have had the pleasure of visiting delightful gardens owned and tended by even more charming gardeners. Don't let me keep these wonderful gardens, such as Flower Bower pictured above, a secret just for me to enjoy. If you followed my garden's progress in my blog last year (which is horribly out of date, I need better software!), you'll get the chance to see the final (or as final as gardens get) result. My garden is Natural Elements. Please stop and say hello! But what is a garden without a little garden art? Whether it is the completing accessory or the grand focus, garden art adds to our gardens' ambiance and beauty. Please join us for this great event, a fundraiser for The Foundation for Tigard Tualatin Schools. Dates and hours: Art Show - Friday, June 20, 2008 6:00pm -8:30pm Saturday, June 21, 2008, 10am - 4pm. Garden Tour - Saturday, June 21, 2008, 10am - 4pm. Tour tickets are $20, on sale now (see website for ticket sale locations). Art Show admission is free. I hope to see you there!
